This is our story
Fabian is a tax advisor who spent several years working for one of Germany’s largest tax consultancy firms. There, he advised major national and international companies on how to optimise their tax positions, prepared complex tax returns for corporate groups, and drafted legal opinions to find practical solutions in cases where the law was unclear. Most recently, he served as a Manager for International Tax and Transaction Advisory, helping businesses operating across borders, acquiring other companies, or restructuring themselves from the ground up.
Isabelle comes from the world of film and theatre. She trained as a make-up artist and worked both freelance and in permanent roles on numerous film and theatre productions across Germany. She knows the long days on set, the detailed preparation that goes into creating great special effects, and the joy of seeing something big come together as a team effort. Over time, she took on more responsibility for project and funding management.
And then one evening over dinner, it happened. What started as casual conversation about the day suddenly turned into a talk about film budgets and finances – and that was the first time our two worlds met. We asked ourselves: How can financial chaos be tamed? How do you build a smart tax strategy for a creative company? How do you steer big projects more effectively? In some form, we’ve been having that conversation almost every day since. With SPARK, we want to share our answers to those questions and help passionate entrepreneurs turn their creative ideas into successful businesses.
